Expert Lawn Care Program

Our Expert Lawn Care Program is recommended for bermudagrass and zoysia grass (sun areas only). A separate, specialized program is recommended for fescue-mixed lawns (shade and sun areas).
Our Expert Lawn Care Program consists of seven treatments per year
including the granular lime application (January to January):

• Early Spring pre-emergent crabgrass control, broadleaf weed control, and balanced fertilizer
• Late Spring pre-emergent crabgrass control, broadleaf weed control, and balanced fertilizer
• Early Summer post-emergent weed control and a balanced granular fertilizer
• Mid-Summer post-emergent weed control and a balanced granular fertilizer
• Late Summer post-emergent weed control and a balanced granular fertilizer
• Fall pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control with a balanced fertilizer
• Winter granular Lime application to reduce soil acidity and post-emergent weed control

Summer Power Core Aeration

• Core Aeration...
  Aeration is a mechanical process that improves the health of your lawn.  The hollow tines of the aerator penetrate the soil to allow water, air, and fertilizer to better reach the root system. Aeration reduces compaction, encourages vigorous growth and thickens the lawn to better choke out weeds. Herbi-Systems recommends this beneficial service each year in May, June or July for Bermudagrass and zoysiagrass.
